James Coe, born 1769 Ipswich England apparently lived in Beaufort, Carolina with his family where they owned "estates or plantations". after the the war of Independance they "lost their land as they remained loyal to the King" James moved to the Caribbean (no idea where others went or if they stayed put) anyone know about this family?
