Thomas lived on or near the Cumberland River, at or near the communities of Helms Landing (where my Gfather George Henry Coe was b. 2-7-1874) and Creelsboro (where my Father Joseph Beckham Coe was b.2-14-1904). I believe he lived in close proximity to his brother John William Coe, perhaps in the area along Coe Creek on the west/north bank of the river. This would be in Russell County which was formed in 1825 from portions of Adair, Cumberland & Wayne Counties which are presently west, southwest & east of Russell.
