My records don't show any connection to either Kersey or McNair, but the book I have does not follow the descent of the female lines. If Coe was used as a middle name it could have been the mother or grandmother's maiden name. Also there are a few lines that there is no record of. Most of the Critchlows I have were in Pennsylvania and coming west from there. Several of them went into Kentucky, but I don't know where they went from there. Sorry I can't help.
