Gary, I just read a message you sent someone else about the COEs. My gg-grandmother was Lucy Lovira Coe. She was born 5 Jan 1837 in Springwater, Livingston County, NY. She married William Franklin Foster in the same town in 1855. I have found this information in a FOSTER genealogy published in 1891. That book did not give me anything on Lucy's parentage.
