Short, The person you refer to as Dora Coe was actually Delilah Coe, b. 1845 in Surry County, NC, daughter of Jesse and Sarah (Wood) Coe. She married June 21, 1863, in Surry County, George Bullin, son of William and Sally (Hollyfield) Bullin. George Bullin served as a private with Company A, 28th Regiment, North Carolina Infantry, Confederate Army, during the Civil War. He was taken prisoner April 2, 1865, near Petersburg, VA, and held at Fort Delaware, DE, until June 19 when he took the oath of allegiance to the Federal Government. After 1870 George and Delilah, with their children Emily J., b. 1866 in Surry County, NC; and Edmund, b. 1868 in Surry County, went with her brother Samuel Houston Coe and his family to Roane County, WV.
