On November 21, 1832, he is mentioned in county tax records as "Removed to Pulaski County, Ky." He is listed in the 1840 and 1860 censuses of Wayne County. He married May 11, 1826, in Wayne County, KY, Elvira Davis, born 1803 in KY. Children: 1. James S., b. 1827. 2. Lenna, b. 1829. 3. Elsie, b. 1831. 4. Mary, b. 1832. 5. Samuel W., b. Sept. 1833. 6. Sarah T., b. March 25, 1836. 7. Nancy, b. 1839. 8. Greenwood, b. 1840. 9. Anna Marion, b. 1842. 10. Joab O., b. Nov. 10, 1844. 11. Joshua, b. 1847.
