I can't find what I am looking for. Drat. What I remember are two stories about two separate Robert's. One spent about a lifetime in prison for his religious beliefs and was released prior to dying. Really had a miserable existence, but stuck to his beliefs. The other committed murder either while in prison or when he was being robbed, and was executed the hard way. I'll keep looking.
