Dear N. Lewis: Benjamin F. Coe was born in November 1873 in Cooke County, TX, oldest son of Charles Matthew and Josephine P. (Haile) Coe. His father, who was born January 2, 1847, in New York, was deputy sheriff of Cooke County. His mother was born in 1853 in Stone County, MO, daughter of Meade James and Livy Ann (Cavin) Haile. His mother and father were married February 28, 1873, in Cooke County. Benjamin's brother Wilbur D. Coe, and his family, went with Benjamin and Alice to Love and Carter Counties, OK. Although Wilbur Coe and his wife Cora had a large family, Benjamin and Alice had no children. Wilbur died June 18, 1956, in Carter County, OK; his wife Cora died there May 25, 1963. Ben and Wilbur's father Charles M. Coe died in 1929 in Cooke County, TX, and was buried at Hibbit Cemetery, Gainesville. I hope this is helpful. Carl Robert Coe Marysville, OH 43040-9012

I have only Zachariah Coe and his daughter Persis Coe, born about 1799 New York. I find them in the familysearch.org but seemingly not much info on them Thank you for replying.
