Desavigna Coe, for many years a well known and respected citizen of Jamestown, died at his home, 600 Camp Street, Monday afternnon at 1:40 o'clock, aged 67 years, 11 months and 22 days. He had been ill for more than a year, part of the time in the Woman's Christian Association hospital. He is survived by his wife, Matilda Fenton Coe of Jamestown; one daughter, Ruth Coe, and two sons, Earl and Clifford Coe of this city; a granddaughter, Mildred Coe of Jamestown; three sisters, Mrs. Jacob Strout of Washington, DC., Mrs. Raymond Sherman of Mansfield, PA., and Mrs. W.J. Wurtzler of Muncie, Ind.; a brother, Edward Coe of this city, and an uncle, Emery Coe, of Walton, NY. Mr. Coe came to Jamestown in 1861; was married in 1872, and ever since that time, had resided in the home where he died. For a number of years he worked at the old woolen mills on Winsor street, and for 23 years was avalued employee of the Grandin grist mills. He was a member of Mt. Moriah lodge, F. & A.M., being one of the oldest Masons in the city, and belonged to Jamestown tent, K.O.T.M., and Union grange, Patrons of Husbandry. The funeral will be held from the home, 600 Camp Street, Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, the services at the house to be in charge of Mt.
