    2. To all researchers, I have been made aware of a website that lists everyone and their birthdays. It is www.anybirthday.com. I have already deleted many of my family members. If you do not want your family members listed here are the steps to delete them. At the main page go to the bottom of the page, click on FAQ. On the next page go to How Can I remove and click privacy statement. On the next page scroll down to "Opt Out Option." Click on it. It will take you to the page to delete yourself and family members. You will need the persons first & last name, birthdate and zip code to delete. To remove more family, repeat the steps.

    3. Hello HCoe, To my knowledge there are no people in my line from Ga, at least till recent times. Do any of them go back to Ct,Long Island or NYS? About 1650 or 60[don't hold me to that exact date, I'm using my memory and thats not to good] Benjamin Coe,went down to NJ and his descendants went out through Pa and NJ. Could you hookup to that? If so I could get you back into Eng abt 1340. Let me know. 3. My records don't show any connection to either Kersey or McNair, but the book I have does not follow the descent of the female lines. If Coe was used as a middle name it could have been the mother or grandmother's maiden name. Also there are a few lines that there is no record of. Most of the Critchlows I have were in Pennsylvania and coming west from there. Several of them went into Kentucky, but I don't know where they went from there. Sorry I can't help. 1. Re: [COE-L] Emma Coe Hoadley b 1820/30's?

    3. I would be very happy to post everything I have. My great grandmother was Emily Ann Hoadley, both her first marriage certificate and her death certificate state that she was born in Crawford Co., Ohio, June 7, 1850, but 1900 census says she was born in June 1852. Her mother (from death certificate) was Emma Coe (born PA) and her father was James Hoadley (born Maryland from that 1900 census, but I don't trust this for some reason!). Emily Ann first married George W. McKean in Berrien Co. Michigan in 1868, second Samuel V. Baughman in or near Licking Co., Ohio, about 1881. After Sam died in 1904, she married a Francis Walker in 1911 in Zanesville, Ohio, but continued to appear in the Zanesville city directory as Emily Baughman, and was shown on her death certificate as Emily Baughman, widow. I haven't yet looked for a divorce from Walker in Zanesville, but it probably exists. I also know that she had 2 sons by McKean (varies: McKane, McCain, McCane) Walter and John, Walter stayed around the Licking/Muskingum area, and John "went west". She also had 6 Baughman sons, Amos, Richard, Frank, Henry, Hiram Coe (my grandfather), and Andrew J. Baughman, during the years 1883 - 1896 And that is all I know. Not much, huh? If an Emma Coe appears in someone's sibling list, I will take that as a lead, and see where it goes. I have searched census and census indexes in Ohio and Michigan looking for Emily and George and James and Emma, to no avail. Not knowing if Emily Ann Hoadley has any siblings, I have estimated that her mother Emma Coe may have been born in the 1820's or 30's. Thanks for just keeping an eye open for her. 2. CAROLYN: there are a number of hoadley's in the coe book and there is a whole column in the index of emma's and emily's but none of them appear to be right. this coe book was printed in 1911 so most of the people in there are up to about 1900 and with some being a bit later. the book i have is an original printing and is falling apart from use but it is complete. most all the names i looked up were from n.y. and ct. i wish i could be of assistance on this one since the coe name is one of my favorites and i have done quite a lot of research on my line of coe's from 1300s england to oregon. sorry and the best of luck on this one. gary in oregon
