Hi, I am looking for information on Emeline E. Coe. She was born on June 13, 1818, possibly in Philadelphia. She died on February 7, 1872 and is buried in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Philadelphia. Emeline married John McDowell born 1812 in NJ. John McDowell was adopted by his Aunt Henrietta Kollock and her husband the Rev. John McDowell. His birth name was John McDowell Kollock, but after his adoption he dropped of the Kollock and became known as just John McDowell Jr. John and Emeline had three children: Francis, Florence. and Ella. I would greatly appreciate any information on Emeline and her family. Thank You, Melissa

John, I saw your post regarding Samuel COE, son of Joseph COE and Jane DAVIS. My ggrandparents were Eunice COE and Samuel DAVIS. Eunice was a sister to Joseph and Jane was a sister of Samuels. I know the parents of these couples were Stephen and Margaret (STEWART) COE and Samuel and Sarah (MARSHALL?) DAVIS. I have information on the descendants of Samuel and Eunice that I will gladly share, but would like information on Joseph and Jane as well as Stephen and Margaret. If anyone has more on these couples I would be most appreciative. All were in Wayne Co., Ohio. Linda jalinwill@aol.com

Dear Friends: Only a few copies of The Coe Families Maryland and Virginia were printed earlier this year. Because of the limited number of copies, the costs were extreme. The book offered on eBay is an "extra" from that printing. A general publication is still in the offing. At least one more limited edition run will probably be printed prior to that. eBay seemed liked the only fair way to give interested parties early access to the book. Thank you or your continued patience and interest. Carl Robert Coe
Guess I don't understand. I thought my family paid for copies of this book about 10 years ago, so what happened to our copies?
