Codney, 42, of Campsite Road, died Friday, May 3, 2002, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, on May 13, 1959, the daughter of Charles H. and Joan M. (McCarthy) O'Toole. Sharon had been employed by UPS and H&R Block. She was a member of St. Augustine's Church in Peru. Sharon enjoyed bingo and dining out. Sharon is survived by her husband, Joseph R. Codney of Schuyler Falls; her mother, Joan M. O'Toole of Apopka, Fla.; a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Christopher Tedford of Schuyler Falls; a granddaughter, Brianna Tedford of Schuyler Falls; a sister, Karen O'Toole of East Providence, R.I.; a brother and sister-in-law, Chuck and Alane O'Toole of Hornell; one niece, Katie O'Toole and one nephew, Brian O'Toole. Calling hours will be Monday, May 6, 2002, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A vigil prayer service will be held Monday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2002, at 11 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Plattsburgh with Father Vincente F. Jazmines, pastor of St. Augustine's Church in Peru, officiating. Following cremation, burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Rouses Point.
