(1800, 1810), then, Luzerne, Warren Co., NY (1820, 1830, 1840) is the father of both Daniel CODNEY and Samuel CODNEY, Jr. Gideon CODNEY (Madison Co., NY, 1850) and Peter CODNEY (Sullivan Co., 1830) are likely related but Samuel only shows in the census with 2 sons, presumably Daniel and Samuel, and possibly 5 daughters.
