Jul 1969, Paonia, Delta County. It is possible that he had a son, William CARSTEN, b. 7 Jun 1927; d. 27 May 1998, Hotchkiss, Delta County. I beleve that these men were my grandfather's cousins. The first William was the son of Jacob & Marie "Mary" (JOHANNSEN)CARSTEN who emigrated to Colorado from Germany about 1883. I am willing to share all information that I have on this family.
