Robert McKenzie (Bob) Ames, a native of Minnesota, died at Mill Creek Health Center in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 24, 2001, at the age of 86. He was born on May 17, 1915, to George Albert and Florence Elizabth Ames in the township of Welch, Minn.,one of eight children. He married Ada Marie Wilde in Shelley, Idaho, in 1936. Mr. Ames served for a short time in the U.S. Army,ultimately dicharging due to health issues. He is survived by three children.
