Hi All, I'm trying to find out something/anything about the death of my ggrandmother Margaret Sinnott PETTEE. Margaret died in Delta, Colorado in 1917 at the age of 87. Her body was returned to Princeton, IL where she is buried next to her husband George P. PETTEE Sr. who d. March 1915. The only other information I have on Margaret is her fathers name was Michael SINNOTT and her mothers was Johanna Bryant SINNOTT. According to the 1870 census for Bureau County Illinois, all three were born in Ireland. I do not know what happened to her parents other than they left IL and ggrandpa knew them in VT before they came her and he and Margaret married. I do not know if she had brothers or sisters. It is a dead end. Since she died in Delta, and at that age along with the fact I know of no PETTEE's living there, at least not from my lines, I can only assume she might have been visiting a relative of hers. If any of you live in Delta or have extensive knowledge of it in 1917, I would appreciate it if you could pass on any information about her death or possible family members living in that area.
