She married Joel H. Dickerson Sr. in Audrain County, Missouri on 18 Apr 1880. The family moved to Montrose County, CO and according to Joel Sr's obituary in Apr 1926, they had lived in Ash Mesa for 33 years. There was one son, Joel Jr of Gunnison Co, and two daughters, Azel (Moore) of Montrose and Minnie Odel (Smith) of Delta County born to this union.
