His mother, Dorothy (Delores) Trujillo was born in Delta to Louie Trujillo and Cora Medina. We think the family lived in Delta County for a short time from the late 1930s to the late 1940s. They were came here probably from the Las Animas County area. Louie's parents were Epifanio Trujillo and Francisquita Lopez Trujillo. They, too, lived here in Delta County at least during the same time. Epifanio was married again after the death of Francisquita but I don't know the name yet. If anyone could give me any information on their life while here in Delta County, I would appreciate. I already have the names of Epifanio's parents, I'm just looking for stories of employment and such here in Delta County. I have a date of death of 1955 for Epifanio.
