BOUWENS, 78, Paonia, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2002, at the Delta County Memorial Hospital in Delta. Survivors include her husband, Bob Bouwens, of Paonia; three sons: Raymond K. Wardlaw and wife Peggy, of Crawford; Len Wardlaw and wife Cindy, of Carbondale; Jim Wardlaw and wife Sheryl, of Paonia; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; seven brothers: John Minerich and wife Amelia, of Sun Lakes, Ariz.; Erick Minerich and wife Maxine, of Cedaredge; Franklin Minerich and wife Charlene, of Richmond, Ky.; Paul Minerich and wife Becky, of Paonia; Keith Minerich and wife Tina; Bob Minerich and wife Gwen, all of Richmond, Ky.; Dan Minerich and wife Cheryl, of Paonia; and three sisters: Elma "Tiny" Wiening, of Paonia; Joan and husband J.R. Lemon, of East Carbon, Utah; and Thera and husband Bill Sanburg, of Montrose. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 11 a.m. at the Paonia United Methodist Church, with interment following in the Cedar Hill Cemetery at Paonia.
