Henry R. Myers, 83, died July 28, 2001, at his daughter's home near Cedaredge following a battle with cancer. He was born May 3, 1918, six miles north of Kremmling, the youngest son of John Joseph and Fannie (Bell) Myers. He served in the U.S. Army from Dec. 5, 1941, to Oct 18, 1945, as a staff sergeant in the Pacific and European theaters. Mr. Myers married Velma Mae Wecker of Last Chance on Aug. 6, 1947, in Laramie ,Wyo. They divorced. He later married June E. Vriezema in Delta. He is survived by one son and one daughter.
