I know my parents lived close to Hotchkiss at that time--possibly on Redlands Mesa. I recently received a copy of his birth certificate that showed the place of his birth as Welcome, CO. I would like any information available about this town/community. I have been unable to locate it on any Colorado map. Thanks, Trudy Swain
