New Mexico Territory Reason: Expiration of Service After discharge, he lived in Culebra, Taos County, New Mexico (source: Land Bounty Application) for six years. They were both catholic, but I have yet to find any record of their marriage or any link back to Manuela Maria Barela. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
