They lived in Ft. Garland in 1927-29. Ruth had a daughter named Roberta "Teresa" b. 4/1/1929. Ruth and her sister Eva were shot and killed one month later on 5/29/29 by Ted Brenneman. I have heard that Mr. Gillette left shortly before his daughters birth to find work, possibly in Sante Fe. Teresa was raised by her grandmother. If you have any information on the Gillette family, I would greatly appreciate it, as I am "at the wall" with this one. Thank you. Linda
