Vialpando families came to the San Luis Valley in the early to mid 1860's. Juan E. Vialpando and Maria de Jesus Duran apparently stayed behind in Ojo Caliente, NM. I did not have children listed for this couple. With a combined effort we will be able to compile the family group and the new researchers will have found their Vialpando/Sanchez roots. This family is in my book Some Descendants of Juan Montes Vigil.
