My wife Rose DeHerrera has been doing genealogy for many years as well. We live in Sacramento Ca. I was born in Center and Rose was born in Manassa. We are both DeHerrera's. We were in San Luis a few years ago and wanted to meet you but you were out of town. We will be attending the Colorado genealogy conference in Espanola in June. Hope we can see you there or in San Luis at that time. I am starting to do research on my maternal grandparents. They moved from Costilla (Arroyo Hondo?) to LaGarita/Carnero in the late 1800's. Great Great Grandparents: Miguel Antonio Marquez y Samuela buenaventura Archeleta. His father was Juan de Jesus Marquez. Would you have anything on them. The Del Norte Church records (1855-1955) show that family living in Mogote near LaGarita. (not near Antonito) I have not been able to find any record of that town. Do you know anything about it?
