My great grandmother was MANUELITA MARIA MESTAS OR SHE could have been knowen as MANUELLA MARIA MESTAS OR MAESTAS.it is said that she took on this name from a raphael MAESTAS This we do not know if it is fact or fiction only hearsay story pass down to me. Her sons were CIRILO MESTAS OR MAESTAS he was born in 1886 in the st luis st pablo area and he had one living brother whose name was JUAN NEOPOCEMIO MESTAS and supposedly had 13 kids out in costilla.My grandfather Cirilo Mestas was married to my grandmotherROSEBEL MARTINEZ her parents were Raquelita ROYBAL and SHE was married to Eziekiel Martinez who was her husband.
