My husbands grandmother was Fred and Francisqita's daughter her name is Lilia Mascarenas Sanchez.I have Fred's birthdate as 1893 and death date as March 13, 1942 and Fran's birthdate as Oct. 10, 1895 death date as Sept. 6, 1985. Do you know the county where they came from? I am not sure where mine came from although mine are supposed to have married in County Clare. Mine are William Breen and Mary McGrath who emigrated to New York with 6 children circa 1847 where two children died. My family went on to Rochester and then settled in Hamilton Ontario, Canada. William died soon after and Mary remarried Patrick Shea.

She was 79. Sanchez died Friday at Stanford Hospital after suffering a stroke. A native of Chama Valley, Colo., Sanchez was the granddaughter of Don Jose Ramon Martinez VALDEZ, who came west in the 1860s. She graduated from St. Mary's School in Walsenburg, Colo. and later attended college in Lawrence, Kan. before marrying Aloysius SANCHEZ, a court clerk in Colorado in 1938. The family grew to include two daughters by the time they moved to San Francisco in 1951. The family moved to Menlo Park in 1957 with the opening of the Emporium Store at Stanford, where Aloysius ["Al"] Sanchez worked in security. She was a sales supervisor with DuPont before retiring in 1972. Sanchez was an accomplished painter, potter and she was an avid reader. A member of the Mid-Peninsula Widow and Widowers Association, Sanchez also volunteered with the California Association for the Retarded. It was at the widow's group where Sanchez met Audley WILLIAMS, who became a companion and traveling partner. She is survived by daughter Kathleen Sanchez-HOLTON, five grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and a great great-granddaughter. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Roller & Hapgood & Tinney at 980 Middlefield Road in Palo Alto. Interment will be at Alta Mesa Cemetery.

Juan Jose Aguilar 1878; Ruben/Rubel Aguilar 1880; Maria Paula Aguilar 1883; Maria Manuela 1886; Jose Issac 1881. They had moved back to NM by 1878. Do not know if they had any children baptized in CO before they moved back, at least none that lived to adulthood. Of Gracia Leyba's brothers, Jose Patrocino Leyba also married in Penasco. Do not have any info. on her other brother Manuel Albino Leyba. Census records indicate both Eulogio Aguilar and Maria Gracia Leyba were born in NM but my have married in CO where they met.

They had three children EFRAIN PEREZ - MEDINA (MY FATHER 1936-1998) ERADITH PEREZ MEDINA, TRINIDAD PEREZ-MEDINA AND MIGUEL PEREZ-MEDINA. My grandmother and grandfather resided in QUEBRADILLAS, PR at the time of my father’s birth and at some point moved to MAYAGUEZ, PR. and then to NEW YORK CITY. I do not know if my grandparents had any siblings, both died before my birth. Any and all information is greatly appreciated!
