There are also four other brothers and sisters born to Sais and Gregorita (nee)Pacheco. They are Alfredo, the oldest, Manuel and the two other girls whose names escape me at the moment, but I can come up with the names doing a little bit of research. Oh, the youngest was Casilda and my other tia married into the Ochoa famila of Grand Junction, Colorado. My mother was Clotilde was just recently passed away in September of 2003. I, suspect that you are a descendent of Cornelio. Am I correct? Much, much more information can be exchanged and I can be reached at mitch989@adelphia.net I would be interested in hearing from you. They had several children, one of which was Charles "Carlos" Newton m. to Emelia Tobin, daughter of Thomas Tate Tobin. I am searching for the name of Charles Newton's parents. There are conflicting reports of him being born in three different states, N.Y., Miss., Penn. I know that in the late 1880s he was in Colorado. Any information on his parents would be very much appreciated. Thanks! -Tonya

There are data on hundreds of NM early Protestants, many Hispanic families, as well as photos and history. Some genealogists of NM families encounter a period from 1850-1900 or so when family info becomes difficult to find; sometimes this is due to some family members having converted to Protestant and as a result their data do not appear in the excellent records of the Catholic Church in NM. Anyone wishing their own username/password or desiring to seek or share info may contact me at: 2johnchavez@cox.net.
