Living in Ohio and then Indiana, Jacob's first wife was Sarah E. Nickels (married in 1846). They had sixteen children: John, Christopher, David Monroe, Anna, Della, Lillie, James, Rebecca, Mary, Sarah, Simeon, George, Elmer, Susan, Maggie, and a baby boy who died as an infant. When Sarah Nickels died, Jacob married Sarah Palmer. Do you have any info that would tie your Mary Catherine Bricker to Jacob, maybe her father? DelC
