This may not be your family line. I have a John W. Cochran and look at him as John Walter. RICHARD A. and CYNTHIA LINDSEY COCHRAN m. 26 Nov 1854. Six children: Celia b. 1857 Walter b. 1858 Charles b. 1861 Lilian M. b. 1865, d. 1921 John W. b. 22 Jan 1868, d. 18 Sept 1883 Ida May b. 1871, m. _ Adams A brother is Walter, hence possibly John's middle name. I cannot place where this line of my family lived. Richard's grandparents lived PA and OH. There was a moved west by later familes but I cannot place Richard's. Richard's uncle (my line) moved to Indiana. Others moved to Illinois and Kansas. The families fan out in so many directions from both Ohio and Indiana. My grandfather was born Illinois but his parents moved back to Indiana in 1872. If you can connect, please contact me. Hopefully, Richard
