    3. Dear Kathy, It don't sound like the same William C. My William C. was born 1737 in Paisley, Scotland. Died 1779 He married Experience Weeks 1758, she died 1823. William served as lieutenant and pilot in Danielson's Mass. Reg. from May,1775 to Dec 1775, In1779, he was lost at sea in Boston Harbor near Falmouth, Mass. their Children: 1. David, 1768-1802 M. 1788, Eunice Bachus she D.1941 2. James W B.1770 , Mass M. Christine Mackie 3. Nathaniel B. 1772 Mass M. Clarissa Weed 4. John W. B. 1774, Bpston Township, Suffolk Co., Mass. D. July 29,1822 M. Cathrene D. 1832 Records show 6 in the Family only have name of 1 child John He married 2 times Elizabeth Seton (Seaton) 7 children Betsy Overman 6 children John came to Indiana with his parents and later was the justice of the peace of TaylorTownship, Green Co.. In There is a memorial to Congress , errected by the citizens of Indiana Territory,With Johns name on it. The book don't state where this Memorial is located. the records that I have follow a child from the first marriage Housan Seton C. I have a few Pics some of Housan and His children.Some were coppied to the book and can hardly be made out. Others were from my Grandmother and are in better condition. It was rumored that our William G. Cochran, 1784-1815 landed in Mass. I have found out he lived in Baltimore, Md. He married Susanna M McCannon. He was listed on a census as coming from Sotland.
