Cochran - A Revolutionary War widow's pension file for Mary Dutcher, formerly the widow of Samuel Cochran, gives quite a bit of information. In a nutshell, Samuel was in the Green Mt. Boys Regiment. Samuel died 14 Jul 1797 in Cairo, Greene Co., NY. In 1841, his widow Mary Dutcher was a resident of Catskill and aged 79. She married Samuel Cochran 30 Apr 1781 in Dutchess Co., NY. Mary's brother was Job Milks. Mary (Milks) Cochran remarried to David Dutcher 20 Apr 1807 at Cairo, Greene Co., NY. David Dutcher d. 24 Jun 1818 at Cairo. It would appear that Samuel and Mary (Milks) Cochran had a daughter, Mary, who m. 1st to Ezra Prindle and 2nd to Hugh Conner. I can elaborate if need be. Lynnea Dickinson Descendant of the Dutcher family
