Hello all listers, My gr grandfather, Green H. Cochran, was born somewhere in GA in 1818. Suspect, his father's given name may have been Henry. Green is listed in 1840 in ALA State census as being in Monroe Co. MI. Records found that he purchased land, in Alabama, at the Land Office in Greenville Ala. in 1858. He was found in Gonzales, Gonzales County, TX, in 1880 US census as head of household with twins Susan and Lewis (twins) age 22, Daughter Susan, keeping house and Green and son Lewis working on farm. Green reported to have died before 1889. I would like to find information on him during they years 1879 and 1889 and of his twin children Susan and Lewis Cochran after his death.
