I am a descendant of a Glass Cochran who was b. in Dublin, Ire. and settled in Pulaski Co., Ky. A son, William (b. 1814), removed to Greene Co., Ill. after Black Hawk War service. A grandson of Glass, Albert Dennis Cochran (my gr.father), eventually lived in Oklahoma where my father was born. I have always assumed that Glass was a surname and perhaps the maiden name of my ancestor's mother. There is a Clyde Cochran among the descendants of this family. Ken
