David Cochran who lead the Peru Militia in the Battle of Plattsburgh, (War of 1812) between September 6 - 11, 1814. He was the son of John and Sarah Cochran who came to Peru, NY with their children about March or April, 1786 from Pembroke, NH. John Cochran built the first grist and sawmill in Peru. David married Susan Everett, daughter of Capt. Edward Everett, (b. 9 Dec. 1739, Dedham, MA, d. 11 Jul 1814, Peru, NY.) who fought with the New Hampshire Rangers in 1776 in the expedition to Quebec, Canada. I am interested in dates of birth, marriage and death for Susan Everett Cochran and David Cochran and also their children, Everett, William, Rachael, Abigail, Polly and Susan. David married a 2nd time (to whom ?) and had 2 more daughters, Sophia and Mary. I am also interesed in learning the names and dates of birth of John and Sarah Cochran's children. Any information would be much appreciated.
