Cochran of Maryland was my great grandfather. He married Edna M. Dabney of Virginia and had nine children: infant that died at six weeks old, Floyd A(deceased).,Shirley, Alfred R., Joyce, Mary A., Horace, Doris, and William. I believe that Louis's father was one of twenty-one children or he had twenty-one children between two wives. I do not know his parents names yet but I know that the person who had the twenty-one children, was once married to a Melvana (not sure if spelled correctly). I know there are still some living uncles of Louis's living in Maryland. Either his grandfather or father once lived in Baltimore and had a sharecrop in Silver Spring.
