ROBERT COCHRAN was born in 1739 in Ireland and died 4-28-1822 in Cabarrus Co., NC. He and unknown wife (perhaps BRICE) named children ELIZABETH BRICE COCHRAN (b c1785) and ROBERT BRICE COCHRAN (b in 1793 in Cabarrus Co., NC, m MALINDA SARAH MORRISON, and d 11-2-1824). PAUL COCHRAN, JR. was born in 1754 in Ireland. m MARTHA GREER and had a family of 11 children including JAMES COCHRAN (b 5-2-1786 in Mecklenburg Co., NC). JAMES m MARY REID 10-8-1812 in Blount Co., TN and their children included SAMUEL COCHRAN (b 3-15-1816), JAMES BRICE COCHRAN (b 10-11-1827), and SILAS ALEXANDER COCHRAN (b 9-23-1839).

She attended the Open Bible Institute is Des Moines, Iowa. The couple moved to Collins, Iowa where they ran a meat locker and raised their children. From there they lived in Des Moines and Berwick, Iowa; Stewartville and Rochester, Minn and Phoenix.
