In 1920 Mike was living in Belfast with his daughter Gertrude. In 1930 he was living in Simsbury, Hartford, Connecticut with Gertrude's family. At some point in time he lived briefly in Florida. I remember him as "Old Gramps" (my great-grandfather) when I was a child. During that time he lived in Gertrude's home on Brock Road in Searsport where he died in 1958. Dummer Michael Sylvester should not be confused with his brother Dummer Sylvester. I have Hezikiah Cockran of Greenville Dist. SC in my Family bible and can prove it over and above and back again! He was my direct line 4th Great Grandfather! He married three times and had six children all by his first wife. I have both of his wills, I have a law suit filed against him and his second wife, I have a suit filled by one of his daughters husbands against his estate opon the death of his third wife, I have all of the US censuses which he appears on and his entire line comming down to me! I even have the censuses that have his Grandson and his Nephew also named Hezikiah. So Just so that you know, there are several William's, several Johns, several Hezikiahs and I have them all! I have been at this for 18 years now.
