I am looking for information on a THOMAS COCHRAN born in Ireland and arrived in Philadelphia, PA, I believe. He married a lady from Bethany, CT and the first child I know of was William Cochran b. December 01, 1818 in Philadelphia, d. March 31, 1901 in Meriden, CT. Two other children that I know of were: George M. Cochran b. August 13, 1823 Andrew Cochran b. abt. 1830 Thomas is my GGG-GF and his son William is my GG-GF. The above information was obtained from William's death certificate. I have additional information about William and his sibblings and his children. Would be willing to share with anyone who might have a connection where I can further the family tree. Thanks, Howard Cochran [email protected] If you email me directly, please put Cochran in the Subject line.
This was posted in the Missing Links Rootsweb Newsletter. Reply to the email address at the bottom, not to me. o I have a 5x7 photo inscribed "Bowie Texas August 26th,1909." Confederate veterans pictured are J. A. CUMMINS, J. H. COCHRAN, Lieut. S. V. CAMP, Jordan ADAMS, and H. C. WHITLEY. "Standing beneath the old flag that they was marching and fighting under at the surrender of the Confederate Army May the 24th 1865." I would like to see this old photo in the hands of a family member of one of the men named. Please contact me. Connie Ausec [email protected]

Hi, Have been watching the Cochran-L queries for a while and this is the nearest anyone has come to my area! Does anyone know the parents of Nancy Cochran Picket b-1794 in South Carolina so the 1850 census says? I do have the 1850 Jackson Twp. Darke Co. Ohio census if anyone would like a look-up! Wanda
