He ran away from home deserting his wife and family and moved to Colorado in the 1890's. Never heard from for years. By chance a local paper ran a human interest story about him in 1905 and made contact. By this time he is over 80 yrs old and sick. He dies before anything other than letters could be exchanged. He appartently had a mining claim around Hygiene in Boulder Co. He was Irish. Deserted his family in Nebraska. Is there a way to trace mining claims?
