Broomfield has it's own county now. (BGS Quarterly August 1997 Vol 29, #3 p.97 "The Colorado Telephone Company, Subscribers' Directory, Boulder County, March 22, 1902") In 1902 in Broomfield there was a telephone office and 5 subscribers - all ranches. Church, J F, ranch Denver Land Co., ranch Nissan, A, ranch Tucker, Thomas F, ranch Zang, Adolph J, ranch But that's ok , my family and their neighbors in Louisville didn't believe in those new fangled things - there only 5 and all were businesses.
