I am also trying to trace a William Swallow, son of John W. and Mary [Fantz] Swallow, who lived in Boulder County in the early 1900s. I have a hunch that the William Mortimer Swallow was a relative of this family. John W. was born December 1845 in Ohio, but lived in Illinois (where I think he was married - about 1868), moved to Nebraska (about 1885- 1895) and then to Kansas (1900) and finally to Boulder, Colorado, where he's enumerated on the 1920 census. He and Mary are buried in Mt. View Cemetery, Longmont. They had 8 kids: William (b. about 1869-70 - Illinois,) Caroline Elizabeth (b. 24 Sept 1870 - Saybrook, Illinois) Emma (b. about 1872 - Illinois) Charles (b. Sept 1874 - Illinois) Benjamin (b. May 1876 - Illinois) Minnie (b. Aug 1882 - Illinois) Wilson B. (b. Oct 1887 - Nebraska, died 30 Jan 1908, Longmont, CO) Winnie B. (B.
