I would love to get my hands on that book! If you can get me a title and author I will see if I can get it through the Library of Congress and have it sent here to the State Historical Society of Wisconsin or see if the Boulder County Historical Society can do an inter-library loan to the WSHS here. It may even be here already if the title or subject is something other than Beckman or Beckmann, but a MadCat/ArCat search shows nothing for the Beckman name. If you want the original church records from Dölitz or St. John's in Monroe, Wisconsin (My family still are members of the church) let me know. I should have photographed copies of them.
