    1. [COBoulder] Re: Joseph and Elizabeth Aragon, Marshall, Colorado
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Aragon, Gabriella, Shepherd Classification: Marriage Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/XY.2ADE/776.1 Message Board Post: Lori, If you go to http://www.co.boulder.co.us/clerk/recording/icris/icris_help.htm and search for "ARAGON J" you will find their marriage certificate was recorded on Feb. 9, 1926. You can go to http://www.co.boulder.co.us/clerk/recording/index.htm to get their phone number in order to get a copy. Carmella Aragon's marriage to Jewel Wayne Shepherd is in there too - just search for "ARAGON C". Do you know about Elizabeth's parents? She is in the 1920 census with her parents Thomas and Carmella Gabriella. It's Enumeration District 34, Sheet 3A. There are a bunch of records in iCRIS under "GABRIELLA THO", but no marriage record. It would be interesting to find out about the transaction where a Thomas Gabriella sold something to P. H. Zang Brewing Co. in 1909. They are still in business not far from Mile High Stadium, along the Platt River in central Denver. While digging around for Joseph and Elizabeth, I found Jewel Shepherd's obituary in the Denver Post (thanks to the NewsBank database at the Boulder Public Library website). Here it is, and his second wife's, in case you don't have them. Sorry I didn't find anything about their deaths, nor could I find Joseph Aragon in the 1920 census. There's tons of stuff on the Gabriellas, so let me know if you need further help with it.
