    1. [COBoulder] NORDSTROMs in area
    2. Hello, I subscribed to this list hoping someone might know information about my ancesors (NORDSTROM) that moved to Broomfield, CO early in the centery. Specifically I'm looking for information on Andrew NORDSTROM who married Anna FISK. They had several children: Annie, Andrew, Gus, Carl, Paul, Henry, and Esther. Annie was the first child born sometime before 1899 in Sweeden and Esther was born in Broomfield in 1914. I believe they came to the US about 1910. I have not been able to find any information on them so far. Several of my relatives still live in the Broomfield area but I don't have adresses to contact them and unfortunately Henry (my grandfather), his wife, and my dad (their only child) have all passed away leaving my mom the only one to ask questions and she doesn't know much. I've tried locating them in the 1920 census but haven't had any luck finding them yet. The only lead I have is that I recently discovered that many of my NORDSTROM ancestors are burried in Lafayette Cemetery out there in CO. Being that I live in IL and can't just go there I've tried to obtain some information on the cemetery. So far the only thing I came up with is, if I understand correctly, this cemetery is maintained by the city of Lafayette. I've tried to contact them several times about obtaining information on my ancestors and have not heard back. So if anyone has any information on NORDSTROMs in the area (past or present), information on this cemetery, or could help me get information from the cemetery please email me at tydydzog@hotmail.com Any information or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much. -Andrew Nordstrom

    3. I live near Lafayette and can look into this for you. You may also try the Carnegie Library in Boulder. They specialize in local history and are extremely helpful. Not sure if they have an internet site. Please let me know if I may help in any way. Lafayette is quite a small town and they roll up the streets pretty early. -Kim ----- Original Message ----- From: "TydyZogNORDSTROM@hotmail.com" <tydyzognordstrom@hotmail.com> To: <COBOULDE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, April 18, 2002 9:51 PM Subject: [COBoulder] NORDSTROMs in area > Hello, I subscribed to this list hoping someone might know information about > my ancesors (NORDSTROM) that moved to Broomfield, CO early in the centery. > Specifically I'm looking for information on Andrew NORDSTROM who married > Anna FISK.
