He married an Edna (possibly West) and had a son, Norman West Cothran born 7 Nov 1897 or 1898. I have found Norman West Cothran was an inmate of the Saint Michael's School for Children in the 1910 census of Dallas, Texas. After leaving the orphanage, he spelled his last name Couthran. Any information concerning any Cothran family in Colorado before 1900 would be greatly appreciated.
