Irene Bolton, 94, of Longmont died Oct. 16, 2003, at Fort Collins Health Care Center. She was born July 22, 1909, in Boulder to George H. and Phoebe Edna Coon Allen. She married Francis A. Bolton on June 30, 1931, in Fort Collins. He preceded her in death in 1974. She spent summers in Estes Park assisting her husband as a park ranger and naturalist at Rocky Mountain National Park. She is survived by a son, David W. Bolton and wife Sue of Longmont. Her son taught school at Thompson Valley High School for 30 years. She also is survived by several other relatives. No visitation is scheduled. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, corner of Ninth and Francis in Longmont. The Rev.
