    1. Re: [COBoulder] John Wilson Family
    2. Hi, That's a tough one. I noticed the burial entry on the Boulder Genealogical Society site for John. There it's listed as John W. and you cite John L. . First I am always surprised at how mobile Boulder families were ; and the lack of Wilson burials in Lyons make me think they lived there shortly and moved on. Second I have 3 books of newspaper abstracts by Mary McRoberts that cover Boulder County 1860-1900. Didn't see any thing that looked like this family. Again makes me thing they were married & had children before and died after being in Boulder County. Third I've found a William and brother John in the 1900 census in Altona (about 7 miles south of Lyons). Here it's "John M." .And also found them in 1880 in Kansas. But when I look at the 1920 or 1930 indexes there are too many possibilities to be able to find any one of them. Is there anything else you can tell us about the family that might help differentiate them ? Any idea as to birthplace ? Approximate ages ? Any unusual or uncommon given names ? (I think I have the same William & John in 1900 and 1880 and some names are : Ethel, Loretta, Lora, Chora & Claude) Any idea where any of them were in 1920 or 1930 ? David
