    1. [COBoulder] Frances E. GOODELL, 1841-AFT Feb 1904

    3. I've discovered the following additional information about Mrs. Frances E. GOODELL (maiden name unknown, but possibly CULVER or HOPPER), whose last known residence was Ward, Boulder Co.: Although an Elizabeth Frances GOODELL is buried in the same Hot Sulphur Springs Cem., Grand Co., plot as Frances E. GOODELL's married daughter, Lillian Grace TOVEY ARMSTRONG, the date on GOODELL's tombstone says died 1903. In fact I have found Frances E. GOODELL's signature on a 9 Feb. 1904 deed in which she sold her Ward, Boulder Co., property to a Jerry SULLIVAN; therefore either the woman buried in Hot Sulphur Springs is a different person, or her tombstone was erected many years after Frances E. GOODELL's death by someone unfamiliar with her exact date of death, such as Lillian Grace's second husband. I mention this because in the past I have cited 1903 as GOODELL's death date and I know it has appeared on some online data list (although regrettably I can no longer find that website). Mary C.
