The church having been established in 1915 would be in the right period for Robert McMillen; he moved to Colorado in late 1913 and died in 1919. I was pretty sure he died in Denver and have recently had that confirmed. Also, I've learned that he was buried just outside of Denver in Jefferson County, not in Nederland. As the burial information came from my sister (1914-1999), she may have also been wrong about his founding the church in Nederland. It was pretty well known in the family, however, that he did establish one somewhere near Denver. Robert was my uncle, so we're not talking about long-term family tradition, which tends to get more garbled over time. I will write to the Nederland church to see what information the folks there know about its founding.
